How to Use Subtitles for the Firefly, The Complete Series Videos

  1. Move the subtitle files into the same folder as your video files.

  2. Rename the subtitle files to exactly the same name as your video files. e.g. Firefly, The Complete Series_Episode_1.mp4 and Firefly, The Complete Series_.srt.

  3. Open the Firefly, The Complete Series video in VLC or your media player. The subtitles will automatically appear in the video. If it does not, check if the Firefly, The Complete Series srt files are correctly named, then close and restart your video player.



Five hundred years in the future there's a whole new frontier, and the crew of the Firefly-class spaceship, Serenity, is eager to stake a claim on the action. They'll take any job, legal or illegal, to keep fuel in the tanks and food on the table. But things get a bit more complicated after they take on a passenger wanted by the new totalitarian Alliance regime. Now they find themselves on the run, desperate to steer clear of Alliance ships and the flesh-eating Reavers who live on the fringes of space.

    Oh man, this is the greatest show ever!!! Firefly gives us such heart and soul in to every episode I finished the series in less than a month it is absolutely perfect!!!ā¤ļø

    I didnā€™t even watch this show until it was cancelled because of the lousy advertising they did for it, and because they took off Dark Angel to bring it in (which was my favorite show at the time) so I was mad. Then for lack of anything else to watch I started watching when they re-aired it. I was hooked immediately. The characters, the dialogue, the little bits of Chinese. Just everything was so good that I have watched those shows so many times I can tell you where mistakes were made. Still love it today. I have to say that one thing I am so glad that Joss Wheden did not put in this series like in so many other sci-fi is a myriad of aliens in all shapes and sizes. This makes it even more real to me. This was your best show EVER Joss, I think you think so too. OH and kudos for the music, beatuful & haunting, I have downloaded all of that also.

    Type the name of this series or any of it's principles into any search engine, and you'll be astounded by the sheer volume of fan created content and tributes. There is a good reason for that. Simply put, this is a unique and fresh take on the standard starship dramedy. Take the time to watch and thank yourself for it later.

    This show is like taking scifi and western genres, putting them into a bottle, and shaking them up. You have a gunslinging protagonist who flies spaceships and goes horseback riding. A major adversary of the show (reavers or whatever they're called) sounds like they were just made up on the spot.

    You often have to wonder at the stupidity of others. Like an idiot, I never bothered to check how many seasons were available of this show. When I realized that there was only 1 season, after getting half way through, I was literally blown away at the stupidity of 20th Century. This was easily the best show I've ever seen. I've shown Firefly to friends that totally hate any and all things sci-fi, and they loved it. I mean completly adored it. What a terrible shame that this show wasn't continued.
