How to Use Subtitles for the Humans: Series 1 Videos

  1. Move the subtitle files into the same folder as your video files.

  2. Rename the subtitle files to exactly the same name as your video files. e.g. Humans: Series 1_Episode_1.mp4 and Humans: Series 1_.srt.

  3. Open the Humans: Series 1 video in VLC or your media player. The subtitles will automatically appear in the video. If it does not, check if the Humans: Series 1 srt files are correctly named, then close and restart your video player.



HUMANS is set in a parallel present, where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a Synth –- a highly-developed robotic servant, eerily similar to its live counterpart. In the hope of transforming the way his family lives, father Joe Hawkins (Tom Goodman-Hill) purchases a Synth (Gemma Chan) against the wishes of his wife (Katharine Parkinson), only to discover that sharing life with a machine has far-reaching and chilling consequences. Through four concurrent story lines, HUMANS explores the emotional impact that comes as the lines between people and machines become increasingly blurred. The series also stars William Hurt, Colin Morgan, Rebecca Front, and Neil Maskell.

    I like the multi-racial cast, but why is it that the two male black synths can never seem to be awake and themselves at the same time? One or the other is either unconscious or controlled by someone else for most of the series. It also bothers me that a wifes's tragic accident is weighed against her husband's infidelity. The earlier episodes do probe into some questions of AI through a couple strong characters, but this gets lost by the end of the season.

    Pretty good show , some acting could be improved, some good ideas typical BBC production with not many episodes, could develop more with more seasons.

    The story is pretty good , accept the mother flips flops allot.. Just imagine if this show was a Network like HBO or Starz it would be even better.. I have a feeling this will only a be one season and done.. leave you cliff hanging with no 2 nd season plans.. Buyer beware only 8 episodes wow short season

  • Fun clean movie that has nothing scary

    This movie is a drama about robots who have gained consciousness and their relationship with humans. They are on the run from the bad kind of humans. This show is bettering the beginning and then fades. Somehow you never really care what happens to the robots so I don’t think it’s made the connection with users it needs to.
