Season 2 begins with Easter on the horizon –a season of hideous pastels, dye-stained fingertips and a general "who really gives a f***" attitude. A newly sober-ish Sax finds himself struggling with the demands of family and fatherhood. He has sworn to do right by his ex-wife, Amanda, and his daughter, Hailey, which means no booze, sex, drugs or killing. Happy, meanwhile, is resigned to keeping his partner on the straight and narrow while coping with the fact that a maturing Hailey can no longer see him. Sax's fresh start will be tested by a familiar enemy: Sonny Shine, who is on a mission to Make Easter Great Again (MEGA) with the help of his demented Easter Bunny henchman.

Viewer Reviews

  • Second season gets quite rough

    By Larry Ozone

Season one was, to me, a Graphic Novel brought to life with a crazy protagonist, creepy villains, wild cartoonish shootouts - made distinctive by a cute/cleverly done fantasy character. The bad guys stopped at just being creepy. Season two seems to have crossed over into being what I classify as a Horror Movie, closer to "Saw" (which I have never, and will never see) than it is to "John Wicks" mayhem. And the crossing point is episode 2. The villians are TERRIBLY gross, the images disturbing. I had to stop. The bad outweighs the good here.
  • Everybody needs a little Happy-ness...

    By JessicaR_NY

This show defies description and genre and that’s part of its allure. This is, by far, the greatest escape in a time when so many people need one. Guaranteed to make you laugh, cringe, and ask yourself, “What the heck did I just watch?” The cast is stellar, led by the inimitable Chris Meloni who brings heart to a character who is so very flawed (but trying his hardest to do his version of the right thing). It makes him sympathetic, even when his kill count is, well...epic. Push the button... #SeeHappy You’ll be glad you hopped down the rabbit hole. (Pun intended).
