Three years after the Yamato’s voyage to restore Earth, a lasting peace with the Gamilans bears fruit, and due to Earth’s newly acquired technological might, humankind begins a military expansion. However, humanity is once again put to the test by a new threat—Gatlantis. In response to a mysterious plea, the Yamato and its crew must undertake one more mission for the good of their species.

    This is show is exceptional: a great plot, character development, story keeps you wanting more. The first series was great as well. I hope it won’t be too much longer before iTunes gets the second half.

    Was looking forward to watching this, but Funimation dropped the ball when releasing the digital version on iTunes with English audio only. Their assumption that people in North America only wish to watch anime in English is an idiotic one.
