Viewer Reviews

  • Unique perspective

    By Bonus Bonus Mom

I very much enjoy the use of tech including satellite imagery to explain history. Also heard lots of ideas and theories that I have not heard before...which is fun since I watch these kinds of shows a lot. Hope you produce more episodes.
  • Wrap Up / Lesson Learned

    By sad viewer x2

As you complete this years series it would be great to see a next steps, in what your series produced. Did your series change science or the path forward for the many archaeologist and scientists?
  • More effort needed

    By archive_60

All the usual problems with such a documentary. When they hit a stumbling block they start looking for easy answers. Researching history from 3,000 years ago is not easy, and there are no easy answers.
  • Overblown

    By Mission Accomplished

Since being taken over by Fox, Nat Geo's graphics have gotten better but the science has fallen off a cliff. On the other hand, there is some great video of historic locations. While the music and graphics are great, they are as overblown as the narration. A couple of examples of what I find questionable. An object the presenter is looking for is on display on the main floor of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo so, how does he describe this item? He says "It is hidden away in this building". Also, it is odd that the presenter finds an "Israeli house" in Egypt via satellite imagery but never visits that location to verify what may be indicated by the imagery.
