"Pearson" centers around the world of recently disbarred NYC powerhouse lawyer Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) as she adjusts to down and dirty Chicago politics.     This is going to be an incredible series👍Gina Torres (Jessica) getting a headline role will shine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If she’s anything like she was in suits, watch out😉 she’s doing great on her own without the other cast members. Please don’t make this a suits reunion show. It’s Gina’s show, period. 👏

    Honestly the show is just okay. The show feels derivative and doesn’t distinguish itself. Perhaps the show will pick up. Being a huge suits fan (and being from Chicago) I’ll give it the whole season before I make a decision. I hope the show moves beyond city corruption and actually does something more creative. We get it, Illinois is corrupt. Let’s see the political/legal struggle. I also think the meeting in the dark ally way is extremely cliche and overdone.
