  • Great message, but the story could be better

    Having watched VeggieTales for over a decade, I was pleased to find that a new show in the vein of the original series was being made. And what's more, it would be covering the gospel message more than the franchise has before (A massive plus!). However, it pains me to say I didn't enjoy this episode. Everything from the writing, pacing, editing, and animation felt rushed. The message about being hopeful in Christ regardless of circumstances is a fantastic message, but it just needs to be presented better.

    I loved VeggieTales since I was a kid, and I'm glad it's finally back to original design instead of in the house/in the city design, and some original voice actors too! I know some different voice actors/actress voiced some characters like Mr. Nezzer, and Petunia, and it wasn't so bad. Thank you for bringing VeggieTales back! Have we got a show for you! :)
