Voiced by Mel Blanc, the world’s most famous rabbit (created by Chuck Jones and Tex Avery) is back in this classic collection of 20 unforgettable animated shorts. Dating from an early appearance in 1940 – his first meeting with Elmer Fudd in “Elmer’s Candid Camera” all the way through 1954, this Looney Tunes anthology features many firsts – such as the first appearance of the Tasmanian Devil in “Devil May Hare” and Bugs’s first close encounter with a nameless Martian (later named Marvin) and his pet dog K-9 in “Haredevil Hare.” And Bugs’s sparring with Yosemite Sam runs throughout this collection – as they meet during the Gold Rush (“14 Carrot Rabbit”), in a prison (“Big House Bunny”), and on the high-seas as pirates (“Buccaneer Bunny”). But that’s not all folks… there are some thugs after Bugs for a good-luck charm; and Bugs becomes both the Masked Marauder Carrot Thief and a rabbit sandwich! What’s up, Doc? Your spirits, with this must-have collection!

You know, I was in Wally World the other day and saw three or four seasons of Looney Tunes there for at least half of the price of the entire season here on iTunes. I think everyone is right, it's just way too expensive for my pocket. Sorry Bugs and friends, I'm taking my business elsewhere.
  • Hooray, no more two per title!

Boy, that two-for-$1.99-without-any-chapter-markers-whatsoever deal was not my favorite. This 1-cartoon-for-99-cents deal is way better, especially since we only get 1 cartoon instead of two. I would like to be able to pick up certain cartoons from the prior Looney Tunes sets on iTunes (mainly Operation Rabbit) for the 1-cartoon price of 99 cents.
  • Umm...do the math.

    By Deidre316

Volume 3=20 single cartoon episodes for 17.98. Volume 1=10 double episodes for 19.98. iTunes is NOT ripping you off.
  • reason for my rating

    By Coreygene

two shows for 1.99 was much better what happened?
  • For those who complained about the 1.99 pricing...

    By The Nerd

    ...It was 1.99, now it's .99!
  • Well, what do you want?

    By WinterView77

Personally, even though I think the price IS a little too much for one seven-minute episode, I do like that I can now purchase one short instead of two put together. I wouldn't want to have to pay for one I don't want (even though I have yet to see a Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoon I didn't like). $0.99 for each individual short should do the trick. (Plus, on a side note, TWO shorts for $1.99 is a better deal than this one, so what's there to complain about?)
  • why so expensive??

c'mon? $1.99 for a seven minute episode?? I would love to get more Bugs Bunny, but not at that price!!
