Emerging from their hidden lair in the sewers, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles visit the surface for the very first time and confront the wondrous and hostile world of New York City! They immediately face a group of thugs attempting to kidnap April O’Neil and her father Kirby. Failing miserably to rescue Kirby, the band of reptile brothers promise to help April find her father, and together, they learn the importance of working as a team. When the Turtles come upon a mysterious canister of mutagen, they realize the mystery of their existence is much bigger than they ever imagined. Now, with the proper ninjutsu training, and Leo as leader, the brothers are ready to face their worst enemies, including a race of extra-dimensional aliens known as the Kraang, a vast army of ninja warriors known as The Foot, and of course, the evil and ruthless Shredder.

    Two words - Turtle. Power. Each turtle? One word? Leo-adorable. Raph- agressive. Donnie- adorkable. Mikey-crazy. Needless to say, they're each awesome in their own way. If you have seen the old Warner Bros show : Teen Titans, I think you'll like this.

    I'm in my mid-thirties and was a fan of Eastman and Laird's original comic as well as the original animated series. The original show became too hokey and silly even for my 10 year old mind, very quickly. Eventually, the turtles seemed to not even fight, rarely if ever using their weapons. THIS NICK SHOW though is AWESOME. It is a perfect blend of everything good from the comic and the original series. CAN'T RECCOMEND IT ENOUGH. BOOYAKASHA.

If it wasn't for you we wouldn't be in this mess!!!" Donnies is " April is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen!" Leo's is " you have anger issues that u need to control" and Micky is" sorry" once again I love it

    After seeing the photos, animation, action figures, books, voice-acting, trailers, and previews to this brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show, I'm just going to say this - it . . . looked . . . FANTASTIC!!!! And it truly was. Honestly, this may be the only decent thing on Nickelodeon today. I'm glad this became such a big hit. As someone who has been a fan of TMNT for years, I'm so glad that this show came onto our screens. Thanks to Ciro Nieli and Nickelodeon, I can't wait for what's going to happen now. The best episodes are on here, especially. Rise of the Turtles and The Gauntlet are the must-sees.
