How to Use Subtitles for the Continuum, Season 1 Videos

  1. Move the subtitle files into the same folder as your video files.

  2. Rename the subtitle files to exactly the same name as your video files. e.g. Continuum, Season 1_Episode_1.mp4 and Continuum, Season 1_.srt.

  3. Open the Continuum, Season 1 video in VLC or your media player. The subtitles will automatically appear in the video. If it does not, check if the Continuum, Season 1 srt files are correctly named, then close and restart your video player.



When a group of fanatical terrorists escape their planned execution in 2077 by traveling back in time to 2012, they inadvertently take City Protective Services officer Kiera Cameron with them. Trapped in a more "primitive" past, Kiera infiltrates the local police department to try to track down the terrorists before they change the course of history. Continuum stars Rachel Nichols (Alias, Criminal Minds, G.I. Joe) as Kiera, Victor Webster (Castle, Melrose Place) as detective Carlos Fonnegra - who Kiera allies with - and Alec Sadler (Jericho, Scream 4) as the teenaged tech genius who could be Kiera's key to saving the future.

    Sad to say, but the show purports that corporations, ie, capitalism, is leading the world into some insane doomsday scenario in which the Corporations control the world. I guess this sells TV shows theses days. Arrow, is another example. It just is not true. Even in communist countries, it is an absurd concept. The sad part is that this programming will sadly influence some people to believe this crap.

    The show is entertaining but exploring causality in the premise of going back into time, for a do-over says more about us than the Physics; the Sci-Fi. Walking through a wormhole kind of door and into another dimension, with another Earth as Fringe did, is to me, more likely. Besides, that the show became real bleak when all of the players, given the opportunity to change the future, only made things worse. Hope for a better world denied, where no one wins, I can only hope by the end of the series the writers leave it on a positive note.

    Extremely intriguing and interesting. Full of plot twists and turns. Neither gets boring nor slow. Each episode is a fast paced thrilling adventure, full of surprises. Do yourself a favor and get it. It just keeps getting better and better.

    The plot is a very boring chase and catch plot , things happen in a very unrealisticand unconvincing way, I am not talking about the Sci Fi stuff (which is a big problem by itself) but about the way cops interact with a newcomer from the future who integrates straight into their operations with no questions asked, In summary, the viewers are traken for granted and assumed to be dumb

    I have only one negative thing to say about this iTunes conversion. Please give us the unedited version. It is disconcerting to be watching the show and all of a sudden the dialogue cuts out because of some (in my opinion) minor swearing. I am so disturbed by this that I will not be purchasing the second or subsequent seasons until this is rectified. Please listen iTunes!!! Give us what we want.

  • Love the show...but not the "edits"

    I just downloaded all of Season 2 and was shocked to discover that these iTunes versions of the show have had their language edited. You get the original versions on Netflix. Why not here, when I'm paying $3/episode? After all, we're not talking "Sopranos" here; just a few "s--ts" but it still dampens the viewing experience.
