Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous, Season 1 English Subtitles

Bo Burnham is a comedic genius and this show is so funny. 10/10.

i am so upset that mtv canceld this show. You have to watch it to the end to see how it actually gets emotional.

honestly, i have no idea why this show got cancelled. this show was much better than most of the stuff they show on MTV and it was much more genuine than a lot of the shows as well. the show follows high school graduate Zach Stone who decides that instead of going to college, he's going to spend his life savings on a camera crew so they can document his "rise to fame". what i personally liked best about this show is that it has a lot of heart. yes it's a comedy show, and yes the comedy is there, but the show does touch on some serious themes in todays world. Zach tries to get the show to capture the image that he thinks will lead him to fame, and he tries (unsuccessfully) to cut out anything in his real life (such as his friends and family) that he thinks will tarnish that image. i don't want to go into too much detail because i don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen the show, but as i said before, he tries to get the show to capture this image he's created of himself that he thinks will get himself famous, but as the show goes on you start to realize that Zach is actually very insecure and he believes that becoming famous will solve any of the problems that he's been having in his real life. the story arc throughout the season is definitely a great one, and i can safely say that because i found myself focusing less on the jokes and the comedy, and more on the story, which may be seen as a bad thing but it's not because i'm always finding new jokes to laugh at that i may have missed the first time every time i watch the show. the cast all play their roles exceedingly well, which was a relief for me, because i was worried i was going to walk out of the show thinking "well Bo was good, everyone else was meh" which wasn't the case. as a final note, all i can say is, if you haven't seen this show, there's absolutely no reason not to watch it. it's funny, it's emotional, it's heartfelt, and it's very genuine. it's definitely worth the $20 (or $30 if you want it in HD) to buy the Season Pass and i've found myself watching the show multiple times, and i'll easily find myself watching it many more times to come, and i don't think that that's a bad thing at all.

This show is amazing! I shared it with my best friend and we watched the whole season in one sitting and we both were craving more. I also shared it with my older brother and he thought it would be some random show I like but then he grew to love it and I would walk down the stairs and see my brother watching the show on his own time. Bo Burnham is golden. I love how real the show is. It truly shows how many people of today just want to be famous, and be famous with absolutely no talent. It also shows how "reality shows" interfere with reality. MTV made a huge mistake for canceling it though I do admit it was pretty ballsy of them to do this show, it's basically a show that picks fun at all their other shows. It's sad to see this show go. Hopefully comedy central picks it up. This show is just perfect. It's sort of has a The Office vibe where they know the cameras are there and the cameras do shake a little as if a kid really did hire a film crew to film his whole life. I just have to say this show is AMAZING! It really is worth watching and I hope that we will see more of it.
