How to Use Subtitles for the Top Chef Masters, Season 5 Videos

  1. Move the subtitle files into the same folder as your video files.

Bravo’s Top Chef Masters returns for a fifth season with 13 new award-winning chefs ready to compete for bragging rights, the title of ‘Top Chef Master’ and $100,000 for their charity. In a new twist this season, each Master will have his or her sous chef compete in an online competition, “Battle of the Sous Chefs,” hosted by Hugh Acheson. The results of each online episode directly impacts the Masters, awarding them advantages, such as immunity (the winner of each battle earns the Top Chef Master immunity), and sometimes, disadvantages, depending on their sous chef’s performance (the chefs who perform the worst always earn obstacles for their Top Chef Master). Every episode of “Battle of the Sous Chefs” leads up to the next episode of Top Chef Masters, and explores the uniquely interdependent relationship between a Master chef and his or her sous chef. Celebrity chef Curtis Stone is back as series host alongside new head critic Gail Simmons, with returning judges James Oseland, Ruth Reichl, and Francis Lam, and new judge, food and dining editor Lesley Suter. The chefs face off in some of the most difficult and unique challenges seen thus far -- and they’re serving up food for some top entertainers and celebrity guest judges including: Busy Philipps, Kathie Lee Gifford, Lindsay Price, the cast of Days Of our Lives, Ali Larter, the cast of Yo Gabba Gabba, LA Cult Favorites Lucha Va Voom among others. To date, Top Chef Masters has given over 1 million dollars to charities with this season increasing that total to over 1.25 million dollars. The series pits 13 world-renowned chefs against each other to see how well they fare in fierce culinary competition. Each week will whittle down the chefs until the finale where one winner is crowned "Top Chef Master" and receives the grand prize of $100,000 for their charity.

    I liked seasons 1 thru 3 for their simplified format, but as the seasons progressed to season 5, more and more changes took place. The format changed a bit and more chefs were introduced at the start of seasons 4 and 5, which was a bit confusing at first, but I settled into it nicely an episode or two in. Season 5 is full of raucus fun and irreverence with surpises at every turn and camaraderie among the chefs that made the show more enjoyable. More celebrity appearances and the sous chef element really brought some interesting and fun changes to the show. Hugh was a perfect choice for the sous chef battles judge and I hope we see him again in Season 6. Gail Simmons is a goddess, just sayin'.

    While I know it's not iTunes fault (it's the responsibility of the network to get the latest episode to iTunes) - it's still a confusing way to put on this season! Even the chefs and their sous chefs don't seem to quite understand what's going on. Quite frankly this season appears to be somewhat of a failure in some ways. Perhaps they need to step back and re-think this method...it doesn't appear to be working very well...

    Why do you keep subjecting us to BAD service. This isn't rocket science yet iTunes keeps having the same problem. Need to improve your process of uploading episode on a timely manner. For what you charge, this isn't acceptable.

    Now you see it now you don't this is the new Apple magic. Earlier today all episodes of my season pass were there except for the new episode 14 now not only is 14 not displayed all of the odd ( sous chef episodes) are gone. After Years of being an honest loyal purchaser of my media I have to look for alternatives. I see google has allot of what I purchase maybe thats the new iTunes.
