Appalachian Outlaws, Season 1 English Subtitles

I came across Appalachian Outlaws and thought, "I'm from Appalachia", let’s see what this is about. I’m in the Blue Ridge Mountains to be more specific and remember as a kid "livin' in na holla", my first ever experience with Ginseng which is what this show is based around. As a boy of 10, I remember finding it odd that my Uncle while driving us to school, had fat roots of something spread across the maroon sill of his car's back window to be dried by the Sun. When my brother and I asked about it, he just said, "That's money Nephews!" I was enthralled with tales of Ginseng hunting and the battles fought and the blood spilled in competitive pursuit of it. This show triggered my fond memories of this fascinating botanical curiosity from my childhood. The show is based around some Mountain folk that dig, sell and buy Ginseng during the 9 magical weeks it's in bloom. In many areas, this plant is regulated so some have to resort to poaching and trespassing. Poaching can get you up to 5 years in Prison and the latter of which can get you shot. It’s writhe with adventure, suspense, tension and the show is edited fairly as to show both sides of the Ginseng pursuit. This natural-growing plant is Appalachian gold and so is this show.
