James and Sarah are from two different worlds but both are teenage reporters for Ben Franklin’s newspaper, the Philadelphia Gazette. James who’s from America brings the colonists’ point of view while Sarah who’s an Englishwoman stranded by fate in America brings hers. The two cover America’s push for independence beginning with The Boston Tea Party right up to the moment that the famous George Washington comes to town to take command of the large army. Caught on opposite sides of the hostilities, Ben’s teenage reporters confront the real physical dangers of the conflict, while grappling to choose between their new friendship and their countries.

Viewer Reviews

  • The Best Show Ever

    By Autism Supporter

This is my favorite of 3 shows I regularly watch during the weekend. All due to the fact that it is educational and entertaining at the same time, unlike the other 2 shows I watch, which are entertaining teen sitcoms, but not exactly educational.
  • Great Show!

    By Educational,

This show is so good! Instead of the stupid shows, my mom bought all 6 seasons of this. My family is now in love with the American Revolution. It also has a great storyline that you can follow with people that you can relate to. It is so cool that you get to see both sides of the revolution. Highly recommended!
