I’m not well-connected with the world of television seasons. But I knew there must be, by now, a second season of “The Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce.” And there is was on iTunes and, once I watched first episode, I was compelled to binge-watch the whole season and now, I’m glad I did. The series, by all appearances, is more controlled by the writers and producers than by the Bravo network. The characters are allowed to be much more than the black/white, either/or chunks of cardboard. The actors get to effloresce in full characters and they pull one into their charcaters’ inter-connected and fluid lives. You know, like yours and mine. I have the pleasure of having worked with one of the core cast members, Alanna Ubach, with whom I worked when she was 17 years old. Now she is a full-blossom complex woman who, graces be, gets to play the role of such a fully-complex character on the show. I’m just so happy the show is is so magnetic, that I pretty much can’t pull away from it.

Hooked! Watched the first season on netflix and had to buy season 2 on iTunes as I couldn't wait for netflix to get it. Such a well written, well acted show and the fashion is great! Really relatable. Reminds me of new SATC.
