    I don't usually waste money on buying tv episodes but this series really blew me away. I think you have to watch three episodes to at least get sucked in by it.

    I haven’t watched it because (even though I’ve purchased a season pass) iTunes is not making the full episodes available in the US store.. Why? It’s April 23rd, and you’ve been selling the show in the UK store all season long. Just bizarre.

    I agree excellent entertainment from first season and on through 3. No reason to not expect greatness in further season 4. The storyline and character arcs are well thought out, intelligent and evenly distributed, production values are superior. I couldn’t not binge a show like this… takes you into a whole world of its own.

    I never write reviews, but I just finished Season 3 and I just wanted to tell everyone involved in the making of this show that they did an awesome job. The production values for this are insane - it really feels like a blockbuster movie - incredible scenery and action scenes. You really feel like you are there. Silver's character is so cool. I like how much he has evolved since the first season. At the end of Season 3 I was getting chills as Max read the note Billy wrote for him. I just mentioned Silver because I don't want to write a novel - but all of the actors/actresses do a great job with their characters. And all the characters are very well written too. If you like history, pirates, action, and just really fun entertainment then you will love this show. I can't wait for Season 4. We need more shows like this!

    The writing, directing, and production are all very well done on this show. It would be one of the most popular shows out right now if it were on Netflix in the U.S. Hopefully Starz will figure something out so the show can make the 6 seasons that they originally wanted. Everyone should watch this show. It is amazing.

    Black Sails is an amazingly well written, produced, and presented show. It has broken molds in terms of acting, plot, and time period rendition. Each show is a well produced movie. It is clear from the outset that this is going to be an incredible adventure for the actors, the viewer, the writers, and the producers.
