    The set design is amazing, quirky, and a feast for the eyes. Amy is hilarious. I laughed out loud and told myself I know what I’m going to watch when I finally quit sugar. Cause this will get you through intermittent fasting, a bad breakup and shingles. The guests are top notch too. I don’t normally write reviews except for restaurants with carpet. But this is a real winner chicken dinner! Do yourself a favor and buy the show!

    Amy Sedaris has matured and grown even funnier! I would have paid twice as another customer said. She's brilliant. These are shows I can watch over and over again and laugh as if I'm seeing it for the first time. That's a rare gift. BUY IT.

    Do yourself a favour, purchase a single show before you commit. Granted, Amy’s humour is an acquired taste, but funny is funny, and the characters just aren’t. Typical Amy doing oddly sexual gimmicks, that involve awkward hip-thrusts and and spreading her legs..akin to something a eight year-old girl would do because she doesn’t yet understand that it’s inappropriate. Amy has sexual hang-ups, but in a weird way...this is a sexualised nightmare version of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, only not as quirky, pleasing to the eye, fun, or feel-good. Lame.

    Love this show! It’s exactly what Amy described it to be before it was release and it’s genius. A heartwarming throwback to older homemaking shows on PBS and local stations in the late 60’s early 70’s as well as Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. It will also leave you laughing...what more could you want!? It’s not Strangers With Candy and no one should expect it to be, it was never described as such. Amy is so much more than Jerri and this show proves it! IT’S THE BEST!!!

    Great show! Don’t listen to the individual whining about meat jokes. It’s hilarious and they don’t get it. If you loved Strangers with Candy - this is for you!

    There are an awful lot of animal abuse jokes in this show. I eat meat, but I don't think that pouring hot sauce on a dead goldfish or throwing a large amount of meat away to land a joke is funny or even ethical. Many episodes feature abuse of dead animals, comically gutting fish, or preparing meat in "funny" ways. I know that I'm seeming overly sensitive, but it's a well that they keep going back to for jokes. Many of the other jokes fall flat. The other characters that Amy does are just not funny at all. Sadly, only a faint essence of Strangers With Candy can be found here.
