It all begins when The Sorceress, who dwells in the mysterious and magical Castle Grayskull calls on Adam, Prince of Eternia. She presents Adam with a powerful and magical sword, which he must learn to use with great wisdom and knowledge. The sword enables Adam to transform himself into He-Man, the most powerful man in the Universe, by holding aloft his magic sword and commanding "By the power of Grayskull! I have the power!" The sword also transforms his trusted but fearful feline friend Cringer, into the fierce and loyal sidekick, Battlecat.

    I remember seeing this cartoon as a child. I remember seeing this though out of order as USA network ran the episodes in syndication. So I never saw them in order until I got this set. The only thing that I wish is that the documentary that describes he-man and the spinoff series of the Princess of power, the documentary of the definitive he-man and the Masters of the universe had descriptive audio for those of us who cannot see the body movements or paper drawings or sketches. Other than that, this is a perfect catch.

    Does not tell how he man got the sword.Which is important considering that there is two episodes explaining that.Would not recommend spending the money on this

    I’ve loved He-Man my entire life. The amazing imaginative characters and storylines are incredible. I believe anyone who can get past the older style animation would absolutely appreciate watching these. I’ve only played a few episodes so far and haven’t run into some of the playback issues others have complained about, but I have hit a few weird glitches in some parts. I will be buying the DVD box set as well that I believe comes out on Oct 1st as a collector thing. I’ll also watch them just to compare the quality to the iTunes version. I will wait to watch that before I buy She-Ra from iTunes.

    Ectremely mad that I paid for this and NOTHING WORKS. All the episodes stop playback around the 16-19 minute mark and just freeze frame. The audio still plays but what good is that. Don't waste your money until they fix the problem.
