How to Use Subtitles for the Star Trek: Discovery, Seasons 1-2 Videos

  1. Move the subtitle files into the same folder as your video files.

  2. Rename the subtitle files to exactly the same name as your video files. e.g. Star Trek: Discovery, Seasons 1-2_Episode_1.mp4 and Star Trek: Discovery, Seasons 1-2_.srt.

  3. Open the Star Trek: Discovery, Seasons 1-2 video in VLC or your media player. The subtitles will automatically appear in the video. If it does not, check if the Star Trek: Discovery, Seasons 1-2 srt files are correctly named, then close and restart your video player.

    Great show if ya dont mind being schooled in the California “woke” movement! Totally unwelcome, adds very little to the story! Very little if any! This will be the last time i spend my money on this program! Thanks for screwing it up for the 95% of the rest of the population!

    This shouldn’t have happened. The main focus of their travels are exciting and new to the Star Trek World. Most of the dialogue is great to adequate. However, there are clearly some miscasting and maybe even too lax of directing going on. There are many strong actors in this series, but they have to take up the slack for the very underperforming ones. I’m waiting for those great actors to get more screen time versus the ones that really can’t act all that well. I’ll keep watching because of the great storytelling, but will have to realize that the few miscast actors bring it down a notch or two.

    Love the characters. love the costume design, love the writing, it's awesome. Every character has so much personality and individuality to them, I think my favorite part is the character development. Tilly is precious and she made a character relatable for once. You get so invested in them it really hits me in the feels when things go awry. I wasn't a Star Trek fan until I watched this and Lower Decks. They feel less stuffy.

    Great season long story arcs. Not same old recycled episodic structure. Awesome special effects and action. Pretty mature and dark while staying true to Star Trek canon and throwbacks.

    If you like Star Trek and really understand Science Fiction, you will love this series. It will uplift you and make you say, wow! It is Star Trek, despite what others might say, and will boldly take you where no one has gone before.
