<i>Deadliest Catch</i> returns to take viewers deep into the Bering Sea with eight crab fishing boats and their crews through the two toughest fishing seasons in the world — Red King and Opelio Crabs. Rough waves and fierce weather make the Bering Sea a difficult and dangerous place to do business. For the fishermen who work these waters, risk to life and limb is just another part of the job. If it's not the dangers of operating heavy steel equipment on a rolling deck, it's the lack of sleep that makes the injury rate nearly a hundred percent. After a needed respite, the crews will changeover their fishing gear and head back out, deep into the icy-filled Northern waters of the Bering Sea. The temperatures are colder, the seas are rougher, and the fishing is more dangerous. In the 2005 Opelio Crab season six men lost their lives fishing these waters. Fortunately, last year no one died, but ask any fisherman and he'll tell you it's just a matter of time before the Bering Sea claims its next.

    I have purchased all three seasons and I cant wait to get the fourth season when it is availible for download on iTunes this show is raw and on the edge of your seat suspenseful. It's so entertaining I love watching it.

    Capt Sig is by far my favorite but of course I love Phil and the Hillstrand Bros. I am engrossed everytime I watch this show and am so greatful for all the men and all they do! Keep it up!

    Great show. I know it's edited someone (probably the timelines meaning what might seem like one day could be several) but to my way of thinking, this is the best reality show on TV at the moment. The crews are real people, not TV or model wannnabes. I find myself rooting for them. Whenever I have a real bad day at work, I watch an episode and say to myself, "lighten up, you COULD be doing that for living!" I have lots of respect for these hard working crab fishermen and their families.
