    This is a MUST SEE series hands down. It is brilliant, and it got pulled before concluding....thankfully HBO released a movie at the end of May 2019 to wrap this brilliant story up. I would recommend this series over just about anythin g else HBO has put out.

  • Good series ruined by the f-word

    This was very good except for the language which made it barely watchable. I got through all the seasons, but I will never watch it again because I don't want to hear the f-word every three seconds. The series ends abrubptly too, a terrible mistake on the part of the producers.

    Great look, great cast. The writing... not so good. It's not just that every f-ing c-s-cking line of f-ing dialogue uses variations on f-ing and c-s-cking, although that gets really f-ing ridiculous and tiresome really f-ing quickly. It's also the storytelling on the larger scale. After setting things up well enough in the first few episodes, the story meanders and dribbles off into the f-ing ether. Season 1 is half a season's worth of story. I don't get all the f-ing praise heaped on it by fans and c-s-cking critics as well.

    This is awful, awful quality. I was watching on HBO Go streaming and got fed up with grainy, fuzzy picture quality so I figured I'd buy the season and get something better. No such luck. Disappointed because this is one of my favorite shows. Top notch storytelling and fantastic acting. Ian McShane reallly should do Shakespeare.
