See how it all began and download the first five episodes of the hit TV series, <i>Dollhouse</i>, on Fox! In the highly-anticipated first season of <i>Dollhouse</i>, Echo (Eliza Dushku) is an “Active,” a member of a highly illegal and underground group who have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas. Confined to a secret facility known as the “Dollhouse,” Echo and the other Actives including Sierra and Victor carry out engagements assigned by Adelle, one of the Dollhouse leaders. The engagements cater to the wealthy, powerful and connected, and require the Actives to immerse themselves in all manner of scenarios — romantic, criminal, uplifting, dangerous, comical, and the occasional “pro bono” good deed. After each scenario, Echo, always under the watchful eye of her handler Boyd, returns to the mysterious Dollhouse where her thoughts, feelings, and experiences are erased by Topher, the Dollhouse’s genius programmer. Echo enters the next scenario with no memory of before. Or does she?

Viewer Reviews

  • The Original Price Should be 9.99 For This!!!

But iTunes did us a favor for once! Only 4.99!
  • Better than the reviews here...

Dollhouse isn't what you are expecting. Its not the supernatural, and there are NO vampires. But it is a deeply thrilling mind ride that asks two questions: Should prostitution be legal? And, are we who we are even if we cant remember it? It sounds like a simple storyline, but its wonderfully complex and tittilating. Eliza Dushku has 2 trainers, count them, yup 2 trainers and her body is amazing! The acting is vibrant and standout. Missing this is foolish. Its worth every single penny. I will admit though, that you need to see it in order to not get lost in the storyline, its just so intricate :)
  • Great show, but don't stop with 5!

The first 5 shows are quite episodic--they are great, but they don't reflect the total greatness of the show! The episodes following True Believer REALLY kick the whole series up a notch! Totally worth the price!
  • Starting people on some of the worst episoes?

dollhouse is a great show, but come on, we all know the first five are among the weakest, and episode six is where things really get awesome.
  • Skip the Starter Pack

    By Laura E-D

I absolutely loved Dollhouse - once we got past these first five episodes. These five aren't bad - they're meant to stand alone, and gently introduce new viewers to the show's concept without diving too deep into the season-long arc. With episode 6, "Man on the Street," the show really took off. So, I don't get why this starter pack leaves off just as the season picks up. Very strange choice, iTunes.
  • Ok, but . . .

    By Johnny D.

These five episodes won't get you hooked or even "started" on Dollhouse. Things really get good in Ep. 6, "Man on the Street". These are ok (particularly eps 2 and 4), but it's really the brussel sprouts of the season that you have to eat before getting to the ice cream of the later episodes!
