Such a good show. Explains everything in easy to understand language but doesnt limit itself in expanding your knowledge of the universe. Highly Recomended!!

A few of the critics moan about it being too low-level and not detailed, etc. As someone else mentioned, we are NOT all physicists or astronomers. This show generates INTEREST in the topic and I'm certain is not intended to be a complete college-level course. That should have been obvious since it's on cable television! Anyway, I absolutely love this show and I'm glad that it's offered for download.
The best show ever! period!

There are some science gurus here that say the show is too dumbed down, well Mr. Professor, the general public is not an astronomer or a physicist. This show has dug into every possible question you might have about the universe and more. I have an 8 and a 4 year old that are fascinated with the show and is interesting, great graphic depictions and comparisons that anyone can follow. We need more shows like this, instead of all that reality TV junk. This show sparks interest of people that would never bother learn about the universe. This is a good job and I hope it continues; physics, science, astronomy and cosmology are not only geeky science, it is science of us, where we come from and the future of our species. Good Job!

WOW. the universe is the best thing that ever happened to this world. im a homeschooler and i have watched every last episode of the universe and now im writting a report on it! what is a better way to study than to litterly just sit and WATCH TV FOR HOURS ON END?!?!?!?! plus, most of the stuff STAYS with me.
Few cracks in Season 4

In reading some of the less hysterical reviews, I tend to agree with a number of fans who see this more as an armegeddon series than was presented in previous seasons. Also, the inclusion of questions from viewers REALLY slows the show down and is something that certainly should be eliminated in season 5, if the series continues. Not their best effort for sure, lets hope the following seasons get back to the format that was so outstanding in previous years..

The show is great, although season 4 is a bit less intresting than season 3 (especially the parallel universes episode). However, I'm a bit confused as to what happened. After the end of November, there haven't been any more new episodes. Does anyone know what's up?

Season 4 is not my favorite, because I was most fascinated to learn more about the planets and moons in our own solar system which were covered in the first two seasons. On the other hand, it's great that the series is available in HD now - and I can't think of anything more deserving of high def than the beauty of space. I have learned a tremendous amount from these shows and greatly enjoyed every minute of it. My kids also find the show both fascinating and entertaining and we never miss it. This is one of the best shows available on iTunes, ANY network!

This is slow pitch science TV. It's so dumbed down as to be misleading and outright wrong. And what's with the narrator's voice and the fixation on explosions? Sheesh. The reviewer below was correct. If you love Fox News, this is the show for you.
