Fame, Season 1 English Subtitles

1. Move the subtitle files into the same folder as your video files.


2. Rename the subtitle files to exactly the same name as your video files. e.g. Fame, Season 1_Episode_1.mp4 and Fame, Season 1_.srt.


3. Open the Fame, Season 1 video in VLC or your media player. The subtitles will automatically appear in the video. If it does not, check if the Fame, Season 1 srt files are correctly named, then close and restart your video player.

Fame is based on the hit 1980 film that defined the hopes and dreams of aspiring performing artists for a generation. This first season, like the film, begins with the auditions for the School of the Performing Arts in New York City, where we meet the characters and watch their struggles. The teachers include Ms. Grant (dance), Mr. Crandall (drama), Mr. Shorofsky (music) and Ms. Sherwood (English), as well as ditzy school secretary Mrs. Berg. As for the students, we meet Coco Hernandez (dancer/actor), Leroy (dancer), Doris (drama), Danny Amatulo (aspiring stand-up comic), Julie (cellist), Bruno (composer), Doris Schwartz (actress/writer/director) and Montgomery McCall (actor). "The Nanny’s" Fran Drescher has a small part in the first episode as an auditioning student. Debbie Allen, who appeared in the film, plays a pivotal role as dance teacher Lydia Grant, for which she earned three Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe award.
