How to Use Subtitles for the Samurai Champloo: The Complete Series Videos

  1. Move the subtitle files into the same folder as your video files.

  2. Rename the subtitle files to exactly the same name as your video files. e.g. Samurai Champloo: The Complete Series_Episode_1.mp4 and Samurai Champloo: The Complete Series_.srt.

Mugen is a ferocious, animalistic warrior with a fighting style inspired by breakdancing. Jin is a ronin samurai who wanders the countryside alone. They may not be friends, but their paths continually cross. And when ditzy waitress Fuu gets them out of hot water with the local magistrate, they agree to join her search for the samurai who smells like sunflowers.

    This is a fantastic series by an amazing director with gorgeous art direction and clever storytelling... But the Apple iTunes version only has a dubbed English option (no Japanese!), and the subtitles are very badly synced with the audio.

    The show is great but at least in the iTunes US version of the show, there's no Japanese language option & the subtitles are not synced to the audio...Pretty annoying..

    Hilarious scenes, great music, characters that grow in your heart! Another classic by Watanabe-san, the director of Cowboy Bebop, a classic anime. Once you get to the last episode, you may cry and hold the endearing characters Mugen, Jin, and Fuu in your memories and heart.
