In Dual Survival, the survivalists are dropped into a scenario that could happen to anyone: marooned boaters, lost hikers, stranded mountain climbers. Equipped with minimal gear that would have been carried in the real-life situations, Dave Canterbury and Cody Lundin must draw upon their arsenal of skills to devise extraordinary ways to use what they can find in their surroundings, as well as ordinary objects, and demonstrate what it takes to stay alive. How will they use a 35mm camera, condoms, and a pack of cigarettes in the Laos jungle? Or a car battery, electrical wiring, tires, and seat cushions from a broken-down car in Peru?

Season one is amazing! I still watch it all the time.
• great stuff for survival

so far, one of the highly recommended HD reality shows for survival techniques. Very realistic production, to mention the actors Coby and Dave. They don't over act or do oxymoron stunts just to excite the shows, just realistically as a normal victim would react to such situations. Keeping in mind the expertise they have, they are very well understood and executed with such details and very informative. Cody's primitive style of survival techniques learned from the past civilization of the native Indians and the Mayans were so great to know. Dave's military style of survival techniques were so impressive also to be learned by the next generations who would try outdoor adventures or would be survivor of nature calamities. Some of the techniques I already learned from my Boy Scouting days in school but I learned more from these shows how to deal with wild creatures and wild environment in a more safety and conscious-manner. I don't really recommend Bear Gryllis style of survival techniques, that is suicidal techniques….in a wild environment you need to more careful about your movements and actions, and use wisdom….what Man vs. Wild show was trying to show the audience is doing stunts in the wild not survival. Any 5-year old child would just laugh at him…. I wish the producers of this show would release more of Dave and Cody's Dual Survival Seasons for our next generation, like how to survive from a village hit by landslides or flash floods, tsunami, an earthquake, a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear disaster which are very likely happening these days. Or how to survive in a city hit by a 9.1 magnitude earthquake or a CBRN attack by a terrorist. Overall Dual Survival Seasons are highly recommended….I wish you have more productions to come…. Great job ! ! !
• Awesome!!!

This is my favorite show! I love the fact that Cody and Dave's styles and knowledge are different. Shows the necessity of setting differences aside and coming together in order to survive. Can't wait for more!
• Contrasting Skills in Amazing Situations

By iOS #1

Personality and character go a long way, but these guys have a seasoned ability to adapt to just about any, if not every situation you could imagine. But, as Cody says "There aren't any certainties of survival." Aside from the friendship that develops between he and Dave, as you can see over time, is the fact that they are just plain interesting (no oxymoron intended). Move aside for now Bear, though I like your fast pace and ask-icking do or die approach! So much you can learn from these shows, but, as they say, don't replicate them without training! A bit of humor and teamwork-Dave & Cody ALWAYS lift my spirits! Awaiting S3E1!!!!
• Fantastic. You learn and laugh. What a concept

Excellent shows I watch them over and over and learn something new each time Their a great team and very honest about themselves and respect for each others different approaches to different situations. Far better than those reality shows and who wants to be a whatever Hope they make more...

• Great show

By Mr. MarkM

Dave and Cody's personalities and their unique experience makes this a fun show. I like the fact that they don't try to hide the cameras, nor excite drama. I hope the producers will keep this shows format and protect it from becoming another non-reality, reality show.
• Best Show out there

By Bromes

This is by far one of, if not, the best survival shows out. The two complement each other nicely with their varying methods and its a nice break from watching just one guy like Bear Grylls just ramble. The stuff they do can actually be done by the average joe. It does not require any special training or whatever, But the best part is that these guys make their livings off teaching other people what they know through classes, books, or videos. If you love the outdoors, survival shows, or even two people bicker like an old married couple then I definitely recommend this show for you
