  • Climate Change "Propaganda"?

    By harnada

These low-star reviews are a joke. Do you people know what propaganda is? Here's the definition: information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. Anthropogenic Climate Change is happening, whether or not it fits into your own twisted/simple reality. Anthropogenic climate change is not a "point of view" or "political cause". It is, in fact, the majority scientific consensus for WHY our planet is going through dramatic climate shifts. This is based on copious amounts of data, most of which can be found directly on NASA's website. Get over your whiny political partisan garbage. 97% of actively publishing climate scientists have agreed (based on the data) that humans are the main driving force in climate change. Science gives no ***** about politics; just the facts. These documentaries are great and I've learned an incredible amount about the national parks. The HD shots they get are "Planet Earth" quality. Watching films like this underscores the important role us humans must take to be the stewards of the only home we have ever known.
  • Informative

As a college student studying climate science, I found the video detailing the effects of global climate change on Glacier National Park to be very interesting. Sure many people don't think that man-induced climate change isn't happening, but that doesn't change the facts. People can believe that the Earth is flat but that doesn't make it so. Also, the second video on the PCT was very good too. All around five stars.
  • Global Warming Propaganda!

    By wpoulin

Nice scenery, but it is too obvious that this program is a global warming propaganda. I want my money back!!!
  • Stick to the Purpose of the show .....

    By Tight-wad

If I had known that the theme/plot of this show was to push some one's personal agenda about "global warming", rather than to discuss the stunning beauty of the park. I would have never bothered to download it! If you think your getting a show that highlights natures finest ........ think again. This show is nothing more than some one pushing their personal agenda regarding the changing ecosystem with in the park.
  • What about the rest of the states?

    By estoad

This particular review is for the Pacific Crest Trail. The show is intresting to watch and dose a good job of showing some of what it takes to complete the trail, but what about the rest of the states? The show spends almost the entire time describing the trail in California, and barly mentions the Oregon and Washington sections. It would have been nice to learn about the rest of the trail.
  • Glacier National Park

    By illjim

I was expecting a video of the highlights of Glacier National Park. While there was some of this, there was an inordinate amount of time spent on the purported effects of global warming on the park. At times I felt like I was watching an infomercial on global warming. A video devoted to the effects of global warming on National Parks would be fine if it were clearly identified as such. There was some untruth in advertising here. It was not up to the usual standards of most offerings of the National Parks series. The other new offering, Pacific Crest Trail, was marvelous, and met expectations.
