Pure Delight

There are few things as delightful as murder across the pond, whether in books or TV series. How can you not enjoy watching some character who annoys you get bludgeoned, stabbed, dropped from the roof or shot gunned? Especially when it's done with the usual style of the British. Well written, well acted, and wonderfully subtle humor. Though I'd advise strongly against moving to Midsomer County (fictional) because people are dropping like flies. Sit back and relax with a cup of tea or a pint.

Got hooked on this when it was on A&E. It's British, great locations, classic trained actors, storylines, and who done it? I hope iTunes adds more to the series. Now I can take it on the go. I don't think you will be disappointed in your visit to Midsomer.

I absolutely fell in love with this mystery series. The back story is always in depth and wonderful. I love the lead detective Barnaby and how he treats each crime that comes his way. Unlike other crime series, you actually meet his wife and daughter and often times they are in the center of his investigations. And then there is the wonderfully dry british humor that sneaks up on each situation. And I am always guessing at the end, never quite sure which of the suspects committed the crime. Great series and so glad that iTunes is offering it.
