Disappointing season
By AJBB3
I have enjoyed every season up to this point, but I honestly feel ripped off after buying this season pass. I watched the first 4 episodes, and while a bit boring and drawn out, wanted to see the rest of the season. I waited a week, then two, then three, and now it has become apparent that this season only includes 4 episodes! And, since they made two episodes out of each location, it really only feels like we got two episodes. I'm sure Les is getting tired, and wants to make the most out of each location by squeezing an extra episode out of it, but it isn't good that way. Maybe he should try a different format, by having a partner survive with him, like they do on he show Dual Survival. It would liven things up for the viewer, and for Les

Can't get enough!
By Magadass
I absolutely love this show, and especially how real Les keeps the whole thing. It shows exactly how to survive in a real survival situation, nothing setup here, no film crew just raw survival footage from a survival expert in harsh terrain!

Great show

Les is amazing at both filming and surviving but when you put them together even he can have troubles. In the Norway episode he came the closest he has ever come to losing his life!

Enjoyed it until ...
By Observer2010
Survivorman is one of my favorite shows to curl up on the coach with my popcorn and blanket. I often bring along with me a new camping or survival gadget to toy with while watching this series. Les, in his past series has had it tough, bringing us along with him as he survived the wild with next to nothing. In the Norway episode, the producers were careful in each item they provided to Les, even covering up the brand name of the beer with duck tape. He had received far more then usual, and I was glad, Les suffered too hard in his past shows. However, at 28:00 minutes into part one of Norway, Les accidentally forgets to edit out a piece of vital equipment he sneaked along, a propane gas stove. Throughout the episode he was careful not to mention it or show it (except that one moment it accidentally got in the scene). As a fan, I want Les to have some comforts. A propane stove can be used as a heater in the car, for light, for melting snow, for cooking, for starting fires. Its probably one of the most useful items for survival. However, being sneaky and dishonest about it took away the joy of watching. Now I wonder if the ever so convenient hunting cabin with the dead deer and padlock unlocked was a accident? Les, also accidentally filmed a electric hot plate in the cabin, a high power device that requires a generator. Now I wonder if Les's claim of not having electric was true. After all who would drag a generator in and out of a hillside cabin, it must have been there. Then Les finds a house and within minutes the keys so conveniently left behind next to the door. This is becoming very similar to a British survival series in which there were also many trickeries that the fans caught. Les, please just apologize and say you'll stop this behavior and all will be forgiven, though I will not be getting my money back. And please don't feel some equipment will make your show less interesting.

Survivorman Season 4
By PBelle547
This show all 4 seasons are one of the few programs you can find on regular TV , that can actualy save your life, not only is this show entertaining, with beatiful places Less goes, but how he is able to Mc Giver stuff out of discarded trash, stripped down cars, bikes, motorcycles,.
I also like the way he uses dead falls, and snares.
I have leaned that when ever I go out on a road trip to always be pepaired ( Old Boy Scout from early 70's) a few items, fire statring eqipment, an ax, sleeping bag, some type of water purification.
Less should do a show on how vierers lives were saved by learning at leat basic survival tech.
Thank you Less stroud your the man brother.

AWSOME!!!
By jonmbos
Les is the man. He truly knows how to survive. none of this jumping into rivers and scaling rock walls!! He is calm, collective and methodical. He makes mistakes just like any survivor would and he shows you how to deal and cope with them. Iv been in a situation before and his techniques are what got me out. and last but not least…………HE IS ALONE!!!……no camera crew just him ten days and survival.

Survivorman returns!

I've been waiting years for Stroud's return to TV and season 4 does not disappoint! Beautiful environments and harsh conditions make for classic Survivorman. I can't recommend this show enough.
