The show is overcrowded with mysteries, mysteries that may be intentionally but seem quite unintentionally muddy.
If The Collection had been satisfied to be a show about fashion, I would be recommending it heartily. Instead, the murky and unnecessary string of overwrought mysteries makes it sadly skippable.
Overall, The Collection is a visually and conceptually arresting drama that shows potential – if only it would deliver more on the inherent emotion of its subjects.
