So sad to see it ended. One star off was because they only made 3 episodes for this season after waiting for so long.

I love the Inspector Lewis series; it made me go back and starting purchasing Inspector Morse. I watch almost each episode twice and I get the references, etc. But breaking up the episodes? Really? This isn’t Midsomer Murders. And what happened to the $10.99 Season Pass? I started to buy it, 5 days later, it’s gone. Not cool, Apple, not cool at all. Diehards will still purchase it. But no one likes to be taken for granted. 5 stars for Inspector Lewis, but $6 for one whole episode? I don’t think so ...

I Enjoy This Cast

I only get about 80% of what they are going on about, especially all the names, but by the end the plot comes through and, strange to say, is often kind of silly. Nonetheless, I enjoy the characters and the setting. Anyone could be the killer in each show so there is no pressure to look for clues, just enjoy the banter and the dynamics of each beautiful scene.
Back to the 45 minute scam, eh?

It is exceptionally annoying that, after 29 episodes of Inspector Lewis, done as 90 minute units, as presented on the telly, some officious jerk decided it had to be sold as 45 minute parts 1 and 2. This nonsesical presentation AUTOMATICALLY lowers the rating!
