This once good series has devolved into nothing but preachy social justice posturing. The new writers have absolutely ruined it. Don't waste your money on Season 4.

Enjoyed this season very much, smooth change over to new vicar. Enjoyed the depth of character afforded to more of the roles and diversity of thinking. Appreciated the variety of deaths, and that they weren't pandering. Gentle, likable show.

I loved the previous seasons of this show. I can’t say enough how disappointed I was with the first episode. Perhaps the storyline didn’t grab me or the fact he’s turned into a pig of a person. Hope it will be better with new vicar.
