I wish they would stop focusing on shark attacks and offer us new information about sharks. I for one, would love to learn more about any research being done on deep sea sharks or shark behaviors other than just their feeding habits, there is so much more to learn about these animals and it seems as though the information being vomited out is the same thing i've heard before. I want to learn something NEW!!!
Tone down the drama

Sharks are a fascinating study, but this deep "Hollywood voice" and quick and dramatic cuts are getting a bit ridiculous. I want to love this stuff, but it's getting to feel like the soap opera equivalent of nature documentaries. Also, there are many more interesting topics to cover than shark attack survivors or the Great White. Please get back to writing interesting, educational, drama-free shows!

Shark Week has been frustrating me for a while now. With shows like "Top Five Eaten Alive" and "Ocean of Fear", the Discovery Channel has been moving away from real science and instead using repetitive graphic images for shock value. Leave the theatrics to Hollywood, please! With the problems shark populations are facing in the world today, we should be doing what we can to save and learn from them, instead of simply portraying sharks as the enemy by dousing us with image after image of attacks. I, for one, am bored with it.

It's a testament to the allure and fascination of sharks and the ability of the shows' creators to present an informative and entertaining series that after 20 years later, Shark Week thrives!!! I wish to see some of the older ones and some classics. We want more!

Sharks are cool. Can't wait 'till Shark Week '08. One question: Is that Richard Dreyfuss narrating Ocean of Fear? I missed the TV premere and if it is him, I might buy the episode. If you know, please answer me. By the way, I like how iTunes made the longer episodes the same price as the shorter ones.

I love that they put shark week on itunes. The in depth information given in these shows is both complexing and mysterious as it takes you on a wild ride showing what makes these titans of the sea tick. I found it very fun to watch and hope for more in the future. Sharks Rule :)
