The ending is triumphant despite what happens.
  • This is a bad show

    By musicgod11

Louis Ck is a great comedian, but this is a terrible show. I can't believe he can be so unfunny. I know he's against it, but he should consider a laugh track- that way his show can be tolerable. With all the stuff he's been ranting on about, on how he hates sitcoms, on podcasts, I found it shocking how bad his show is. If he weren't on HBO, he'd be cancelled by now, it really is that bad.
  • Hit or Miss

The season's good at points, almost as good as the first two seasons are, but half of the episodes just aren't funny. In fact, they're uncomfortable and awkward. If you like Louis CK as much as I do you may be able to put up with them, but if you're new to the series I recommend starting from the beginning. I'm glad to see Louie has decided to wait until 2014 to release a new season the the show. I'm sure it gets hard to come up with new ideas after a while.
  • It's hard to say

    By Pridda

It's hard to say how funny this episode is because there is no audio using Apple TV and HDMI. The "report a problem" link on my emailed bill from Apple is also non-functional.
  • soooooo awkward

    By jadr80

Is it just me or is this season 10 times more awkward than the first two? I don't remember it being this painful to watch. The bits seem really drawn out too. And you can generally tell what's coming. The Louie in this show is destined to fail at every thing he does except being a dad and being a stand-up comic. So why does he have to make everything so prolonged and lugubrious? It's killing me. Make this show fun to watch again! Because it's not anymore. The saving grace of season 3 are the amazing guest stars: parker posey, sara silverman, chloe sevigny, chris rock, melissa leo, etc...

  • The Brilliance Continues...

...and we are lucky to have it. So much respect for Louis C.K. for being bold enough to write, direct, edit, and produce this show himself to ensure it meets the quality of standard that he demands. And that is exactly what it really is, quality. You can tell he really cares about what he is putting out there. It might not be for everyone, but for those of us that it is, it really hits home and really connects in a powerful way. In my opinion this is one of the most raw and real shows on television, and that's a real compliment. Louie says what we think but don't say, makes the mistakes that we all do, picks himself up at the end of the day, and finds the vast absurdity and humor in all of it along the way. That's the true billiance of the show, as well as Louis C.K.'s comedy in general. I watch this and find myself laughing out loud so many times all while reflecting on my own life. How many other shows really do that? Do yourself a favor and give this show a try if you haven't, if you're looking for something outside the norm, if you find humor in day to day life and all those awkward or bizzare situations we all find ourselves in at times. This show is really something outside of the box and totally worth watching. I'm willing to bet that more of you than not will thank me later. Don't listen to the haters that post here. Let them drink a nice tall glass of haterade while watching their dumbed down lowest common denominator "sitcoms". Keep up the great work, Louis!
  • A thrilling emotional roller coaster ride

    By Fanalou

This show takes you all over the map, on a thrilling emotional roller coaster ride. It is full of unexpected surprises. Louis CK is clearly not satisfied with sitting on his laurels and just establishing, then following, some formula. He is out to create something brand new with each episode. Some of these episodes feel like a mini film experience. I really enjoy them, and I only wish the wait between episodes wasn't so long.
