I'm not going to knock a star off the review to be petty because come on...it's Gilmore Girls. It's a religion. It's a lifestyle. I've written epic fanfic about it. It's one of the best shows of all time with many of the best characters ever (especially Paris!), and $75 for the entire series? In quality HD? Take my money (and it's already been taken)! But I'm not here for that. I'm here to call out iTunes for the metadata which comes with the complete series purchase. In a word, it blows. To elaborate, I just spent FIVE hours correcting the seasons, episode numbers, airdates and plot summaries which seem to be ripped not from Warner Bros. directly, but a random awful Uzbekistani torrent site on the dark web which decided to sloppily declare all 22 episodes of each season came out at midnight on the first day of that season's new year, give it non-sensical numbering patterns, and call it a day, along with plot summaries not finessed at all over the years, but seemingly ripped from the WB network's publicity materials, including GUEST ACTORS IN ALL CAPS. It's awkward. It made me cringe. Apple, you've been doing this for thirteen years. You have the correct metadata in the individual seasons. I should not have to do this work myself. Thus, I did. So buyer beware to have the Wikipedia page of 'List of Gilmore Girls episodes' up and a bunch of time on your hands, because oddly, if you buy the individual seasons, you've got correct metadata, but the complete series? Well, at least they have the episode order right, but the minimum bar when purchasing a full season should not be just that. Please fix this, Apple.
